About Me

I began my journey as a barber at Chris & Sams Barbershop after graduating from King Philip High School. My father, Sam, took me under his wing and encouraged me to put my creativity and attention to detail to use. With his 33 years of barbering experience, I had the opportunity to learn from his masterful skills. I have always looked up to my father who has paved the way for his sons to take up the family business.

Chris & Sams was founded in 2012 by my father Sam and his brother Chris who had left their homeland to pursue the “American Dream”. Learning from a young age that family was the core to a successful business, my brothers and I decided to carry on their legacy. By growing our skills as barbers, it inspired us to continue this practice with my brother Charbel opening a shop in our homeland abroad and me creating this one in Boston.

Now, you are probably wondering why we are called Boston Brothers Barbershop, BBB. Our logo pays homage to the thriving city of Boston where we were raised and to represent the three Matta brothers by the three B’s. To us, family is important and we are excited to share this love and loyalty to our clients as well.
